Opened in 1923 and designed by Harry Colt, Sunningdale’s New Course offers a more rugged, dramatic contrast to its graceful sibling, the Old. With bolder elevation changes, deeper bunkering, and tighter fairways, it provides a tougher test while still delivering the same rich heathland aesthetics.
Carved through pines and heather, the New Course is famed for its strategy, shot-making demands, and natural flow through the undulating Berkshire landscape. It has hosted numerous elite tournaments and is often ranked among the finest inland courses in the world.
